It’s So Easy

Linda Ronstadt scored a chart hit in 1976 with "That'll Be The Day". She re-interpreted another song from the Buddy Holly and The Crickets songbook for inclusion on her 1977 album 'Simple Dreams'.
"It's So Easy" was originally issued by the pioneering rock group in 1958. Holly's version missed the Top 40. Ronstadt's remake reached #5 in America and climbed to #11 in the UK.
