HEY, HEY HELEN
Image result for abba hey hey helenRecording of "Hey, Hey Helen" began in mid-September 1974. The song wound up on the band's eponymous album. Its beat borrows heavily from glam rock. The message in the lyrics, dealing with a woman who has left her partner, is far from empowering for women.

TIGER
Image result for abba tigerABBA was at the peak of its popularity when 'Arrival' was unleashed. "Tiger" was included on that LP and the band began recording the track in July 1976. Both women are featured on lead vocals.

DISILLUSION
Image result for agnetha 1972"Disillusion" is the only ABBA song co-written by Agnetha. Although she was encouraged by both Benny and Bjorn to write more for the group, she stopped composing, despite achieving success as a soloist prior to ABBA breaking through. This track, featuring lyrics by Bjorn, was included on the band's debut album 'Ring Ring'.

TROPICAL LOVELAND
Image result for abba tropical lovelandFeaturing Frida on lead vocals, "Tropical Loveland" has hints of reggae. Recording of the gentle song began in February 1975. The track wound up on the group's self-titled LP. and was used as the B-side for the major international hit "Fernando" in most territories.

I'M A MARIONETTE
Image result for abba the last videoThe trappings of success are the subject of "I'm A Marionette", the concluding part of the trio that comprised the mini- musical 'The Girl With The Golden Hair'. The 3 songs were added to ABBA - The Album'. "I'm A Marionette" features both women sharing lead vocal duties. A 4th song, "Get On The Carousel" was ditched. Elements of that track later formed "Hole In Your Soul" which was also on the same LP.
