Love Of the Common People
Paul Young's success began in the early 1980s. His debut album 'No Parlez' was issued in 1983. One of the tracks lifted as a single was "Love Of The Common People". That song reached #2 in Britain. It also went Top 10 in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Among the previous versions of "Love Of The Common People" is a recording from 1967 by The Four Preps. The vocal group formed in Hollywood.
