BEFORE THE HIT VERSION. This post: LXVI- BAD CASE OF LOVING YOU.  Continues: next week.
BEFORE IT WAS A HIT SONG
These songs are well known but you may not know about the earlier attempts to score a hit record with prior versions of the same song.
Bad Case Of Lovin' You (Doctor, Doctor)

Robert Palmer released "Bad Case Of Lovin' You (Doctor, Doctor)" in 1979. Its success built on the inroads made by his breakthrough hit "Every Kinda People". He continued scoring chart hits well into the 1980s.
Although "Bad Case Of Lovin' You" is closely associated with Palmer, the original version was released by its writer, Moon Martin. The American singer / songwriter and guitarist, recorded the song for the 1978 E.P. 'Victim Of Romance'. It was also added to his 'Shots From A Cold Nightmare' album the following year.
Each new song will be added to the spotify playlist named: ‘Before It Was A Hit Song’.  You can check out the previous earlier / original versions of the hit songs you know and love.
