"Honky Cat" is a fun song that opens the 'Honky Chateau' album. The single peaked in the US Top 10.

ACT OF WAR
(with Millie Jackson)
Year: 1985
Album: Ice On Fire
American R&B vocalist Millie Jackson shared lead vocals with Elton on the duet "Act Of War". The energetic collaboration deserved to fare better.

MAMA CAN'T BUY YOU LOVE
Year: 1979
Album: The Thom Bell Sessions [E.P.]
"Mama Can't Buy You Love" become Elton's 3rd entry on the R&B Chart. The song topped the US AC Chart as well as going Top 10 Pop. The soul track was written by Thom Bell with musician Casey James. The latter had previously worked with the former's nephew Leroy. Thom brought the R&B duo to Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff's Philadelphia International Records. Elton recorded the E.P. with many Phillie Soul alumni, including The Spinners and M.F.S.B.

Album: Elton John
Barely 2 years after "Border Song" appeared on Elton's self-titled album, Aretha Franklin recorded a definitive remake for her 'Young, Gifted and Black' LP.

THIS SONG HAS NO TITLE
Year: 1973
Album: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
"This Song Has No Title" is the shortest track on Elton's classic album 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' and is one of its sweetest ballads.

WHITE LADY WHITE POWDER
Year: 1980
Album: 21 At 33
The bulk of the basic tracks on '21 At 33' were recorded in Nice, France. "White Lady White Powder" is the sole exception. The rock song was cut at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles.

BLUE EYES
Year: 1982
Album: Jump Up!
Chris Thomas produced the ballad "Blue Eyes". The song was penned by Elton with Gary Osborne. The single went Top 10 in parts of Europe, Britain and Australia.

CHLOE
Year: 1981
Album: The Fox
At the time of this release, Elton was co-writing more with Gary Osborne and progressively less with regular lyricist Bernie Taupin. The single "Chloe" -written with the former- was an edit of an 11 minute medley on the album.

"Grey Seal" is another popular track on the sensational 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' album.

LOVE TONIGHT
Year: 1994
Album: The Lion King (film soundtrack)
Elton composed the music for "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" with lyricist Tim Rice. It was the major hit song from the animated Disney film 'The Lion King'. The ballad collected a Grammy, Golden Globe and Academy Award.
