As countries begin selecting their entries for the Eurovision Song Contest in May, this blog will look back on the stats and the best from each of the 43 participating nations.

TeachInDingADong7InchSingleCover.jpgThe Netherlands participated in the inaugural 1956 Eurovision. It has participated in 57 contests, securing 4 wins. The most recent victory was in 1975 when Teach-In claimed the top prize with "Ding-A-Dong". 
Og3ne-1414438354.jpgIn recent years, Dutch entries have fared rather well. The Common Linnets came close with "Calm After The Storm" finishing as the runner-up in 2014. 
In 2016, all-female trio O'G3NE will represent the Netherlands.
