EUROVISION
2017
As countries begin selecting their entries for the Eurovision
Song Contest in May, this blog will look back on the stats and the best from
each of the 43 participating nations.

Sweden's Eurovision debut in 1958 was followed 2 years later by its neighbour, Norway. The latter has participated in 55 contests, winning thrice; most recently in 2009. That year, "Fairytale" accumulated a record-breaking total number of points: 387! (The runner-up that year was left way behind with 218).
Norway's 2017 entry will be announced on March 11 at the conclusion of its national selections.
