British duo Pet Shop Boys show no signs of slowing down, with the release of the album 'Super' in mid-2016. In Britain, it peaked at #3. "Twenty-something" was its 2nd single.

Australian vocal group Human Nature continues its Las Vegas residency, serving several timeless favourites. During 2016, the quartet released a new covers album entitled 'Gimme Some Lovin': Jukebox Vol. II'. "Be My Baby", included on the disc, is a remake of the 1963 hit from The Ronettes.

With Italy being 1 of the so-called "Big 5" countries, its entry was automatically in the Eurovision Grand Final. When the San Remo Song Contest winner declined the opportunity to represent Italy, runner-up Francesca Michielin re-titled her Italian song "Nessun Grado Di Separazione", added some English lyrics and headed for Stockholm.

"Heathens" was featured on the 'Suicide Squad' film soundtrack. Twenty One Pilots reached #2 in America and peaked at #5 in Britain with the track. It also went Top 10 in Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

WHAT'S GOING ON

 MARVIN GAYE featuring BJ THE CHICAGO KID

45 years after the release of Marvin Gaye's watershed LP 'What's Going On', its title track was given a modern makeover. BJ The Chicago Kid is a recent act that signed with Motown, the same label that released the classic Gaye disc. He added his vocals to the 1971 single, creating a posthumous duet.

French-Israeli singer Amir represented France in the Grand Final at the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden this year. The upbeat and catchy entry proved popular on the night, finishing in 6th place.
