BEFORE IT WAS A HIT SONG

Joe Cocker's version of "You Can Leave Your Hat On" was included on his 'Cocker' album and the '9 1/2 Weeks' film soundtrack.
Randy Newman penned the song and he recorded it for his 1972 album 'Sail Away'. Along with Cocker's remake, the track has been covered by the likes of Etta James and Tom Jones.
