THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
PINK FLOYD
(1973)
Pink Floyd's chart longevity champion 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' possesses one of the most famous covers. Again, there is no mention of the band. No title adorns the cover. Yet, it is recognized the world over.
The prism design employed on this album cover is both simplistic and aesthetically engaging. Somehow, this image reflects the artistic approach of the group in its music. It promises something special, different and creative. Fortunately, the musical content matches the promise of the album cover.
