The song "Video Killed The Radio Star" turned out to be prophetic when it charted around the world in 1979. The Buggles reached #1in Britain, Europe and Australia with the song. The British duo consisted of Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes. They co-wrote the hit with Bruce Woolley. The latter recorded an earlier version with studio group The Camera Club in the same year.
