prior to the first of 7 Irish victories, Muriel Day & The Lindsays
represented Ireland with the pop song “The Wages Of Love”. The song reflected
the style of the pop music scene at the time. On the night, the song finished
in 7th position among the 16 competing nations. By the way, Day is still performing to this day!
