1995 saw Radiohead release 'The Bends', with the band exploring new sonic territory. Oasis attracted a wider audience with '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?' and the single "Wonderwall". Michael and Janet Jackson duetted on "Scream" which boasted the most expensive music video ever made. Silverchair, a group of teens from northern Australia, took its brand of grunge to the world's charts on the strength of debut single "Tomorrow".

To the left of the statue the words "MICHAEL JACKSON" are written in white letters and underneath them is "HISTORY PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE BOOK I" written in smaller white print. Behind the statue, a sky with black and red clouds can be seen.
