MOST RECOMMENDED ALBUMS
Some are the best selling, while others may be obscure, but the albums listed here are all worthy of a listen. No compilation/ best of sets. Only exceptional live albums included. This is a personal listing of the albums I enjoy the most to this day.

OUT OF THE BLUE:
ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA
 ELO-Out of the Blue Lp.jpg
 [1977]
After the worldwide success of 'A New World Record' the previous year, a follow-up was a logical move. The band, with its unique approach to music, returned with another aurally stunning set of songs in a similar vein. As is often the case with double albums, not every track maintains consistency, but there are many fun songs included here. ELO has unjustifiably been underrated, but the group did produce some enduring classics, ranging from fun ("Diary Of Horace Wimp") to an original mix of art/ rock such as "Turn To Stone". Highlight tracks: Sweet Talkin' Woman; Turn To Stone & Mr Blue Sky.
