THE JOSHUA TREE: U2
A landscape monochrome photograph of U2 in the desert sits in the center of a black background. U2 are standing on the left half of the photograph, with a mountain range on the right half. Tiny gold text reading "THE JOSHUA TREE U2" is stretched across the top of the black background.
 [1987]
With Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno helming this project, U2 delivered 1 of its best recordings. 'The Joshua Tree' contains some classic tracks by the Irish rockers. This album raised the band to a higher level. There was now no doubt: here was a serious contender for greatest group in music at the time.  Highlight tracks: With Or Without You; I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' & 'In God's Country'.
