NEVERMIND: NIRVANA

 [1991]
Nirvana's 2nd album helped define the alternative rock sound of the 1990s. It brought grunge into the mainstream by exposing the pop audience to the energy of the Seattle music scene. There was a massive shift from the band's debut album. 'Nevermind' had a sharper focus, evident from its iconic cover to the songwriting and musical performance. The tragedy of Kurt Cobain's untimely death only adds to the impact of the tracks. Highlight tracks: Lithium; Smells Like Teen Spirit & Come As You Are.
