CAFFE` LATTE`TOP 2000 TRACKS {EXPANDED EDITION}

#1953 THE WAY IT IS Bruce Hornsby & The Range
The debut single by Bruce Hornsby and his group The Range was a protest song dealing with civil rights in the USA. It's a delicate jazz-flavoured piano-driven ballad penned & co-produced by Hornsby himself.  "The Way It Is" reached #1 Pop & Adult Contemporary in the USA in 1986. .

#1954 SUDDENLY Billy Ocean
Trinidad born singer Billy Ocean enjoyed a string of hits in the 1980s. "Suddenly", 1 of his biggest ballads, was the title track from his 1984 album. Written and co-produced by Ocean, the love song reached #1 AC  and Top 5 on the UK & US Pop charts in 1985.

The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice.This expanded section now includes songs from the last few years. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
Along with climbing among the remaining Top 100, 2 new songs ranked in positions 1501-2000 will also be added each other weekday.
