CAFFE` LATTE`TOP 2000 TRACKS {EXPANDED EDITION}

#1835 HOW SWEET IT IS (TO BE LOVED BY YOU) Marvin Gaye
The title track from Marvin Gaye's 1965 album 'How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You' was issued as a single the previous year. Eddie and Brian Holland wrote it with Lamont Dozier. The latter 2 produced the Motown hit which reached #6 Pop and 3 R&B in the USA.

#1836 SISTER The Flowers [aka Icehouse]
"Sister" was included on The Flowers' 1980 debut album 'Icehouse'. Lead singer Iva Davies co-wrote it with Michael Hoste. It is an example of the exciting Australian pop at the time. The following year, the group adopted the name Icehouse to avoid confusion with another group.

The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice.This expanded section now includes songs from the last few years. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
Along with climbing among the remaining Top 100 each day, 2 new songs ranked in positions 1501-2000 will also be added daily.
