CAFFE` LATTE`TOP 2000 TRACKS {EXPANDED EDITION}

#1809 ABRAHAM, MARTIN AND JOHN Marvin Gaye
Marvin Gaye's remake of Dion's 1968 hit "Abraham, Martin And John" was a soulful tribute to slain civil rights heroes Lincoln, Dr King and the Kennedy brothers John & Robert. Dick Holler wrote the song. Gaye's cover reached #9 in the UK in 1970, paving the way for 'What's Going On'.

#1810 COME RAIN OR COME SHINE Barbra Streisand
Barbra Streisand delivered a smooth, jazzy vocal for her interpretation of the Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer 1940s standard "Come Rain Or Come Shine". from the musical "St. Louis Woman".  Her remake was featured on the 1979 album release 'Wet'.

The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice.This expanded section now includes songs from the last few years. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
Along with climbing among the remaining Top 100 each day, 2 new songs ranked in positions 1501-2000 will also be added daily.
