CAFFE` LATTE`TOP 2000 TRACKS {EXPANDED EDITION}

#1807 RAPPER'S DELIGHT Sugarhill Gang
The 1st rap hit, "Rapper's Delight" by Sugarhill Gang was built around Chic's "Good Times" (composed by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards). In 1979, Sylvia Robinson and the group's Michael Wright, Guy O'Brien and Hank Jackson created a #3 UK hit and Canadian #1.

#1808 STOP! IN THE NAME OF LOVE The Supremes
In 1965, The Supremes reached #1 in America and peaked at 7 in the UK with "Stop! In The Name Of Love". Brothers Brian and Eddie Holland co-wrote the Motown hit with Lamont Dozier. Complemented by timeless choreography, it proved irresistible for both pop and R&B audiences.

The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice.This expanded section now includes songs from the last few years. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
Along with climbing among the remaining Top 100 each weekday, 2 new songs ranked in positions 1501-2000 will also be added daily (except weekends).
