Randy Crawford wrote the touching ballad "Almaz" and the original version became a #4 hit in Britain in 1986. It was included on the singer's 'Abstract Emotions' album. The version included on this Top 2000 listing is a re-recording Crawford included on her 1997 album 'Every Kind Of Mood - Randy, Randi, Randee'.
