"Summer Nights", the unforgettable ensemble track from the hit film 'Grease' centres mainly around the interplay between lead actors Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta. The song was written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. It reigned for 7 weeks atop the UK chart in 1978.

Canadian dance act Bran Van 3000 recreated "Astounded" from Curtis Mayfield's "Move On Up". The 2001 funky club track was credited to Mayfield as well as group members James Di Salvio and Gary McKenzie. It was a posthumous release given that Mayfield had died in 1999.
