ABBATHE 40 MOST IMPORTANT SONGS

36 DISILLUSION  Writers: Agnetha Faltskog / Bjorn Ulvaeus

"Disillusion", recorded 14 March 1973, is sadly the only song written by Agnetha to feature on an ABBA album. It was included on their debut LP, 'Ring Ring'. Despite encouraged by both Bjorn and Benny to write more tracks for the group, Agnetha offered no other songs. Nevertheless, "Disillusion" does show that her talent existed. She was influenced by Carole King and Elton John. Even this early in the group's career the song's melody points to her greatest strength: no one did heartache better than Agnetha.

37 ROCK ME

38 MERRY-GO-ROUND

39 WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE
