CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#310 ALL OF MY LIFE Barbra Streisand
In 1996, Barbra Streisand's new film 'The Mirror Has Two Faces' hit cinemas. The motion picture starred the singer, Jeff Bridges, Pierce Brosnan and Lauren Bacall. The romantic comedy's soundtrack featured music composed by Marvin Hamlisch. The film's hit song was "I Finally Found Someone", a duet Streisand recorded with Bryan Adams. That song is based around the love theme composed by Streisand and Hamlisch.
"All of my Life" is a solo approach by Streisand of the same love theme. Unlike the duet with Adams, Streisand sings lyrics penned by the husband and wife team of Alan and Marilyn Bergman. "All of my Life" is not heard during the film, but was added to the album as a bonus track. The song deals with the long wait to find a soulmate.
Streisand produced the soundtrack and directed the film. Bacall collected a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for her Best Supporting Actress in the box office hit film. Streisand herself was also nominated for a Golden Globe in the Best Actress (Musical / Comedy) category.

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
2 new songs are added each day (every 12 hours)  with an expanded edition coming soon!
