CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

Mid-week bonus - 1 new song will be added every 6 hours throughout today
#378 SEND ONE YOUR LOVE Stevie Wonder
In 1979, Stevie Wonder released his soundtrack for the documentary film 'The Secret Life of Plants'. The score formed most of the singer's 'Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants' album. Among its many instrumental tracks is the ballad "Send One Your Love". The love song was penned, produced and arranged by Wonder himself. The musician performed all the instruments except guitars. This included a harmonica solo that is trademark Wonder and soothing vocals.
As the only highpoint in what is a lacklustre soundtrack, it is fitting that this was the album's only hit single. "Send..." peaked at #4 in the USA. Fortunately, Wonder's follow-up was the brilliant 'Hotter Than July' LP.

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
2 new songs are added each day (every 12 hours)  with a mid-week bonus every Wednesday.
