CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#341 ALL AT ONCE Whitney Houston
1985 saw the release of Whitney Houston's self-titled debut album. It was a mega success, buoyed by its majestic ballads which included "All At Once". R&B singer Jeffrey Osborne co-wrote the song with producer Michael Masser.
The former had been the lead singer of L.T.D. until 1980 and then enjoyed solo success with singles such as "On the Wings of Love" and "We're Going All The Way". He also charted with "Love Power", a duet with Dionne Warwick.
Masser has written/ produced a number of hit songs. Beginning in the 1970s with Diana Ross at Motown, he then created hits for George Benson, Roberta Flack, Teddy Pendergrass, Peabo Bryson, Glenn Medeiros and Natalie Cole.
While "All At Once" was never issued as a single in America, it received much airplay and was 1 of her well known love songs. In Europe, the single was issued and reached the Top 10 in Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands.

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
2 new songs are added each day (every 12 hours)  with a mid-week bonus every Wednesday.
