CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#416 GOLDEN DAWN Barbra Streisand
The first Streisand collaboration with The Bee Gees proved so lucrative, it was a no-brainer to try it again. Although the 2nd project was never going to match the success of 'Guilty' in the 1980s, there were some beautiful highlights on the sequel album 'Guilty Pleasures', issued in 2005. With brother Maurice's passing 2 years before the new album, only Barry Gibb contributed this time around. To keep the Gibb family involved, he recruited 2 of his 5 children to co-write many of the tracks. "Golden Dawn" was penned by Barry with Ashley and Stephen Gibb. The track was produced by Gibb with John Merchant. Streisand and Jay Landers were involved as executive producers.

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
2 new songs are added each day (every 12 hours)  with a mid-week bonus every Wednesday.
