CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#485 HOW CAN I NOT LOVE YOU Joy Enriquez
Latin / Pop singer Joy Enriquez was born in 1979 in California. She started performing in public in early childhood. During her teens, she found success on the TV talent show "Star Search". Labels were clamouring over the young newcomer.
Deciding to sign with Arista Records, Enriquez added background vocals on the 1998 stellar duet "When You Believe" by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey from the DreamWorks animated film 'The Prince of Egypt'.
The following year, she recorded her own movie song. 'Anna and the King' was a film starring Jodie Foster based on the book "Anna and the King of Siam". The ballad "How Can I Not Love You' earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song. It was produced by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. He co-wrote the song with George Fenton and Robert Kraft. Babyface also plays keyboards on the track.
In 2001, Enriquez finally issued her debut album. The eponymous release contained her biggest hit thus far, "Tell Me How You Feel". It reached the US R&B chart and peaked at #24 in Australia and #14 in New Zealand. "How Can I Not Love You" was added as a bonus track on the album.

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
2 new songs are added each day (every 12 hours)  with a mid-week bonus every Wednesday.
