Phillie group The Stylistics formed in 1968. By 1972, they were 1 of the major recipients of Thom Bell's attention. The producer/ songwriter crafted the group's lush love songs, of which "I'm Stone In Love With You" is one. He wrote the track with his frequent collaborator Linda Creed and his brother Anthony Bell. Along with the vocal group's beautiful harmonies, the recording features the soaring falsetto of Russell Thompkins Junior. Bell produced the track. It was featured on The Stylistics' album 'Round 2'. Released as a single, the beautiful recording reached #10 Pop & 4 R&B in the US and peaked at #9 on the British chart.
