TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#857 WHEN THE FUEL RUNS OUT Executive Suite
Philly group Executive Suite are not well known, but they did record some fine examples of that city's musical output in the early 70s. The Philly sound was R&B at its lushest and was a precursor to disco. "When The Fuel Runs Out" was cut in 1973. It was written by Norman Harris, Bunny Sigler and Allan Felder. Harris was a member of the group MFSB. He co-produced this track with fellow members of MFSB, drummer Earl Young and bass player Ron Baker.  The trio were also part of the line-up of The Trammps who are also on this listing with "Disco Inferno". Harris passed away in 1986.
