Neil Sedaka, one of the most influential singer/ songwriters of the 1960s, enjoyed a resurgence of popularity in the 70s thanks to a few clever pop singles; "Bad Blood" being one of them. Written by Sedaka with Phil Cody, the single was released on Rocket Records. As this was Elton John's label, the other "piano man" is heard throughout the cut on background vocals. "Bad Blood" returned Sedaka to the top in the USA in 1975.
