TOP 1200 CHOICE TRACKS

#1036 SUNSET PEOPLE Donna Summer
One of the best examples of disco was the double album opus that was Donna Summer's 1979 'Bad Girls'. The LP not only contained major hits that included "Hot Stuff" and the title track, but many great tracks that gave that collection its depth and range. "Sunset People" was one such song. Written by Pete Bellotte, Harold Faltermeyer and Keith Forsey, it was the closing track on the hit album. They had collaborated with Summer and uber-producer Giorgio Moroder. Bellotte co-produced the LP with Moroder. Faltermeyer arranged the tracks and played bass. Forsey provided drums and percussion for the 'Bad Girls' sessions.
