After breaking through with the beautiful "Sleeping Satellite", Tasmin Archer followed up that stunning debut with an EP consisting of some live & alternative versions of her songs as well as 4 Elvis Costello remakes. "Shipbuilding" was one of the tracks included on this 1994 disc. It was penned by Costello with his producer Clive Langley and included on his 'Punch the Clock' album in 1983. It is a protest song penned during the Falklands War. Robert Wyatt recorded the original version in 1982.
